I need “Poetry for Dummies”.
To become a general contractor of words that cross lines
covered by iridescent motor oil and blowing sand.
So they will laureate that
“You’re a poet.”
and I’ll laugh as I pick up my statue because
I didn’t even know it.
Is validation a prerequisite?
Ashamed to want it but
